Facilities

The Tessonnier group is located in the Biorenewables Research Laboratory (BRL) on the Iowa State University campus. The 6,000 square feet of open space laboratory that we share with the groups of Profs. Wenzhen Li and Brent Shanks foster a highly collaborative research environment.
In addition to the equipment in our lab, we have access to a suite of user facilities available at Iowa State University and the U.S. Department of Energy Ames Laboratory. This includes liquid and solid-state NMR, TGA-MS, LC-MS, FE-SEM, FIB, HRTEM and aberration-corrected TEM. We also have ongoing collaborations with researchers at Brookhaven National Laboratory for NAP-XPS and UPS.
